Kerry Stockdale is the founder and owner of Play Learn Connect LLC. She has been a New Jersey public school teacher for 12 years, teaching kindergarten in Springfield and E.S.L. in Madison. Kerry earned her M.A. in Instruction and Curriculum through Kean University. From teaching English at a university in China, to being the Nature Counselor at a summer camp for unhoused youth, Kerry is determined to support and empower all of her students.

Kerry's own family inspired her to teach sensory play classes. Her son began enjoying messy play at art class, in the kitchen, in the basement, in the living room… 

Seeing the joy and excitement it brought him led Kerry to research the many benefits of sensory play. Kerry started PLC to connect local families through creative play and organic learning.

Kerry lives in Basking Ridge with her husband Alex, son Bennett, and daughter Colleen. You can find them exploring nature at the Environmental Center, reading books at the Bernards Township Library, or getting messy in their backyard- probably digging for worms.
